Learning a new language as an adult can be difficult, but you’d be surprised at how much you already know when some basic grammar rules start to fall into place! I can help beginners, those who learned some English at school and haven’t needed it for a long time, or those who would like to improve to help with work or studies.

We can work on a specific area that is troubling you, or I can provide you with a solid foundation in grammar and vocabulary.

I use worksheets which complement the DK textbooks. All material used in the lesson is placed into either a Google (Classroom) Drive or Teams folder for you to download and refer to whenever you need. Homework isn’t obligatory, but highly recommended to make the most of the lessons. I’ll send you a list of exercises to undertake after each lesson. These could be worksheets or textbook chapters to complete, videos to watch, books to read, pronunciation sounds to practice, quizzes to play or flashcards to practice on.

I can help the more advanced learner level-up across all areas of the language, assist your understanding of English literature by examining literary devices, or examine more intricate grammatical concepts.

Conversation training

If you are already fairly advanced and just need some practice with vocabulary and pronunciation, a cheaper alternative to lessons is some conversation training, we can also work on reading comprehension during this time, if you’d like.
